No clear consensus exists for the management of Spitz nevi (SNs) or atypical
Spitz tumors (ASTs), particularly in the pediatric population. Some
dermatologists recommend the removal of all suspected Spitz tumors in children,
whereas others perform partial biopsy or monitor clinically.
